Spotlight on the Council

McVille Council met on March 21 following Lenten worship.  Here are some of the highlights from the meeting:
• July worship will be on Wednesday evenings except for July 1st and July 22nd.
• Our churches are responsible for acquiring a speaker for McVille Days worship in the park
• Discussion with the Sunday school leaders concerning Vacation Bible School
• Thank you letters were received for our mission donation and to the synod
• Lighting in the sanctuary will be changed to energy efficient bulbs and switches will be changed
• Information for replacing lighting in the dining room will be presented at the next meeting
• The dry wall in several areas of the dining room and narthex will be repaired by Ed Poehls’ construction
• Summer mowing will be done by hiring a student member
