Each of you must give as you have made up your mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver…God is able to provide you with every blessing in abundance, so that by always having enough of everything, you may share abundantly in every good work.  As it is written:  “He scatters abroad, he gives to the poor; his righteousness endures forever.” 2 Corinthians 9:7-8

Our summer months are coming to a close and we look forward to a long, pleasant fall season.  As women of the church, we have been asked to give abundantly of our time and also to share our ability to prepare food or give money to help for several events this summer.  The willingness of all of our women has been extraordinary!  Thank You!

As we move into fall, there are a few projects we need to complete.  Some of the cleaning assignments have not been done.  It doesn’t take much time to stop in.  Painting the education hallway has been on our list of ‘things to do’ for some time.  We hope to set a definite date for that to be done. 

I would like to have a meeting to compile suggestions for our new year.  There is an abundance of activities for us to do for the good of our own church and also for the good of the greater church community.  As a vital group of women, we can open our hearts and share our talents in so many ways.  As the ideas are suggested and details worked out, we can work together to fulfill the goal of sharing abundantly. Please watch for a meeting date and plan to attend.
