Trinity Annual Meeting

President Marvin Goplen called the meeting to order.
The secretary’s and treasurer’s reports were accepted.
Pastor Kara reported that a new directory will be done in the spring, and that papers have been submitted to apply for an intern.
Pastor Kara thanked everyone for supporting her since the time she came here.
Tri-County Ministry Survey: there will be a report in the newsletter. Trinity had shown that fellowship, Bible Study, and coffee after services was important. Activities such as shared meals and service projects were high on the list. Service projects will be chosen. Participation in worship services was also important.
Lenten Services: will be held on Wednesdays at 5:30 with supper to follow. The money taken in at the suppers will be divided between the youth and WELCA.
Trinity Budget: approved.
Election of Officers: Gary Delfs and Denny Goetz were on the nominating committee.
Trinity Council members for 2012 are Marvin Goplen, Donna Evers, Cheryl Rickford, Gary Stabenow, Lorraine Edlund, Becky Goetz, Bob Delfs, and Luciene LaPlant.
Cheryl Rickford is the Red Willow Bible Camp delegate.
Gary and Betty Stabenow will be the delegates to the Synod Assembly and Carrington Conference, with Denny and Becky Goetz as the alternates.
Marvin Goplen and Janell Feiring will be the representatives to the Tri-County Ministry Council.
Denny Goetz expressed thanks to Trinity for their support of the Bible Camp. Thrivent members were reminded about directing their Choice Dollars to Trinity. Becky Goetz expressed thanks to Trinity for their support of the Synod.
