Current treasury balance was $1,419.54.
OLD BUSINESS:
The group discussed the 2012 fall synod meeting, being held September 12, 2012 at Red Willow Bible Camp.
Final plans were made for the cookie walk.
NEW BUSINESS:
Annual donations as follows --
$500 to Red Willow Bible Camp
$100 to Lutheran Campus Ministry
$200 to Lutheran Social Services
$200 to Lutheran World Relief
$100 to Lost and Found Ministry
$100 to Griggs County Food Pantry
$300 to Lutheran Camping for Citizens with Disabilities
A Sunday morning Bible study was discussed, and Becky Goetz will check with the synod resource center to find materials that could be used.
On Sunday morning, December 4, the WELCA’s first ever cookie walk was held following the 8:30 Hanging of the Greens service. Many members donated baked goods. During coffee hour, everyone had the chance to go shopping. The cookie walk was a huge success, with the WELCA making $225.
